About

The Frenship Heritage Middle School Band played its first note in August of 2011. Since then they have received Division one ratings at the UIL Concert and Sight Reading Contest as well as other events they have participated it across the state. Some of the activities that the band participates in are:

  • The band plays at all Pep Rallies

  • Performs at the Frenship High School Band Night once a year at the High School Football games

  • Performs multiple concerts for parents and the community throughout the year

  • Travels to perform at Statewide competitions

  • Performs at the Annual Picnic concert in the HMS lawn

The band does stay busy but we keep in mind that the students homework and studies in core classes come first and we coordinate with all Athletic and school activities. In fact, over 90% of our students are involved in Athletic activities and almost all of our students have multiple school extracurricular activities.

The band is currently under the direction of Mr. David Biel and Mr. Landon Camp.
