Beginning Band is the pre-requisite for Advanced Band and High School Band in Frenship ISD. No experience or knowledge of music or instruments is necessary. Students are placed on instruments by the Tiger Band Staff at an Instrument Choice Night. Students will perform a Fall Concert, Christmas Concert, Spring Concert, and at two beginning band contests, including the Greater Southwest Music Festival in Amarillo.
HMS Choir
This course provides the student with the opportunity of learning to read music through singing. Students learn basic breathing skills and how to expand their singing range. Students will be given an opportunity to participate in a Christmas program, a Spring program, and to compete in the Greater Southwest Music Festival in Amarillo.
Tech Apps
Students will use Microsoft Office Products, Window Movie Maker and Audacity to create projects with music, sounds, graphics and text. Students will complete a podcast and be introduced to Photography and Photoshop. Students will be learning the Technology Application TEKS while having fun using technology.
PreAth
Prepares students in a non-competitive setting to acquire the discipline needed for UIL athletic competition in the upper grades.

Theatre
Students will learn the basic strands of theatre through a variety of theatrical experiences. Students communicate in a dramatic form, make artistic choices, solve problems, build positive self concepts and relate inter-personally.
Art
Students will learn about different artists, media, and techniques and how to apply them to their own works of art through drawing, painting, sculpting, printmaking, and fibers.
