Many students believe that making corrections is just about raising their grade, but it is actually about LEARNING the material that has been misunderstood.  Students will be allowed a reasonable opportunity to correct any assignment for which they received a failing grade (below 70). Students will have one calendar week from the time the grade is entered in the gradebook to contact the teacher for a re-teach opportunity, where a new assignment will be provided. The new assignment will be averaged with the original grade. Tests must be taken again, outside of class time, after a required correction activity has been completed.
