Welcome to 8th Grade Science! This is going to be a fast-paced and interesting year.  We will cover plate tectonics, reading topographic maps, cause of seasons, moon phases, objects in space, the role of oceans on global weather patterns, atoms, the Periodic Table, chemical reactions, Newton's three laws, forces & motion, and ecology. As you can see, we have a lot to do.  Luckily, our content is fascinating! 

 

Students will soon discover that expectations are very high in Science because our content will be STAAR tested.  We will make sure that everyone is fully prepared with lots of labs and fun group activities. 

 

This will be a great year.
