Welcome to Heritage Middle School and 6th grade social studies.
I am excited to join you on this journey to explore the world cultures, economies, history, and geography. This will be my first year at HMS and as a teacher. I am from the North Dallas area. Where I was a police officer. I moved to west Texas about five years ago and attended Texas Tech University. I received my Bachelors in general studies with minors in History, Kinesiology, and Coaching.
Our journey will explore the worlds history from ancient civilizations, unlimited to limited governments, and geographical features of the continents. We will also learn about the cultures of the world and different religions of its inhabitants. It is going to be challenging, but we will have a lot of fun as well. 6th grade is the best!
