This is my sixth year as the Focus teacher here at HMS. I love my job and I am honored to be a part of FISD! I was born and raised here in Lubbock and graduated from Monterey High School. After high school, I attended Wayland Baptist University in Plainview where I earned my bachelor’s degree in Human Services. Prior to beginning my career in education, I spent a great deal of time working as a behavioral health case manager for Starcare (formerly Lubbock MHMR).
While I am busy throughout each school day, my schedule is flexible. I am usually able to schedule parent teacher conferences at a time when it's most convenient to meet individual parent needs.
