Welcome to Heritage Middle School and 6th grade social studies!
I am so glad you are all here and ready to explore the world, it's cultures, economies, history, and geography! This is my 5th year of teaching and 5th year at HMS! I am originally from Abilene, TX where I began my education at McMurry University. I then transferred to Lubbock Christian University where I obtained my Bachelors of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies in Middle School Education. I am now pursuing my master's degree in School Counseling at Lubbock Christian University.
I cannot wait to travel this journey with you as we explore the world's history from ancient civilizations, unlimited to limited governments, and geographical features of the continents. We will also learn about the cultures of the world and the different religions of its inhabitants. It is going to be challenging, but we will have a lot of fun as well. 6th grade is the best!
