Welcome to the 2023-2024 school year!
My name is Amanda Perez, and I will be your child's Reading Language Arts teacher this year. I graduated from Frenship High School which makes me a Tiger alum! I obtained my Bachelor of Science in Multi-disciplinary Studies with an emphasis in English from Lubbock Christian University. I love to read during my free time, and I hope my love of reading helps engage my students and encourage them to pursue their own reading journey. Nothing is better than hearing students share their love of books with me! 😊
This will be my eighth-year teaching Reading Language Arts and my fifth-year teaching at Heritage Middle School. This will also be my second year as one of the Student Council sponsors.
I cannot imagine teaching at a better school or a better group of kids. I am excited to teach some familiar faces this year and get to know a new group of kiddos!
