Hi! I am so excited to be teaching your student this year! This is my 24th year in education (it is crazy to me to write this number!) and my 15th year at Heritage. I love teaching mathematics and hope to cultivate a growth mindset in all my students and a love (or hopefully a like) of math! I am also one of the co-sponsors for NJHS, a coach for Heritage Robotics and coach UIL Mathematics and Calculator. 

 

We have three children: Our daughter is in her first year at OU, a son in 10th grade and our last son is in 6th grade. We seem to be going from one activity to the next and enjoy watching our kids in all their activities. We also have three dogs: a Labradoodle, a Brittany Poo and a Cairn Terrier. 

 

I have a B.S. in Exercise and Sport Sciences with a minor in Mathematics from Texas Tech University (2002) and a Masters in Educational Leadership from Texas Tech University (2009). 

 

On the weekend you will usually find my husband and I watching Texas Tech sports and spending time with our kids and family (I guess we will also cheer on OU and add watching SEC games to the mix!)
