Hello, my name is Isabel Ramirez, and I am super excited to start a new year as Panthers! I earned my bachelor’s degree at West Texas A&M in Bilingual Education. I went back to grad school and earned my master’s degree in leadership and policy studies. I taught bilingual/dual language in elementary for several years before making the transition to middle school a couple of years ago. I have truly enjoyed being at Heritage!
I have a wonderful husband who I have been blessed to be married to for thirty years and we have two children. We lived in Amarillo, Texas for 26 years before moving to the Lubbock area. I am a HUGE Disney fan! Since I cannot be at Disney all the time I like to bring Disney into the classroom. I also love to travel and be adventurous.
It is an honor to get to teach your students a second language. My favorite quote by Frank Smith says, “One language sets you in a corridor for life. Two languages open every door along the way.” One of my greatest blessings is to get to serve Heritage students!
