Hello, Heritage Middle School TIGERS!!!! 

My name is Ron Sanders, and it is an absolute honor to be able to serve you! This year will consist of several firsts for me as this will be my first year in administration as well as my first year in FISD. I spent the last 12 years teaching and coaching at various schools across West Texas. Most recently, I was in Sudan, Texas, teaching social studies and being the Defensive Coordinator!  

I was born and raised in Lubbock, Texas, and graduated from Lubbock Monterey High School. Being raised in Lubbock, I was always a big Red Raider fan and graduated from Texas Tech in 2011. During college, I felt the need to serve my country and joined the Texas Army National Guard. I spent six years in the guard and completed a tour in Iraq from 2008-2009. My wife, Paige, is a 4th grade math teacher at a local school district, and we have a daughter, Zylie, who will be in the 6th grade this coming fall!
