Hello, Heritage Middle School Panthers

My name is Ron Sanders, and I am truly honored to serve as your Assistant Principal this year! Here is just a little about me. I was born and raised in Lubbock, Texas, and graduated from Lubbock Monterey High School. As a proud Red Raider, I earned my Bachelor of Arts in History from Texas Tech University in 2011. During college, I felt a strong calling to serve my country and joined the Texas Army National Guard, where I served for six years, including a deployment to Iraq from 2008–2009.

I’m blessed with a wonderful family—my wife, Paige, is a 4th-grade math teacher in a nearby district, and our daughter, Zylie, will be starting 7th grade this fall!
