About Me: Hi there! I’m Ashley Foix! I am a dedicated educator with a passion for teaching and a commitment to fostering academic growth and personal development in students. I have 13 years of diverse teaching experience spanning from early childhood education to specialized intervention! 

I gained experience teaching at LISD, and this year, I started my first year of teaching at Frenship. I student taught here at Frenship, and I am overjoyed to be back in a place that demonstrates genuine appreciation for both its students and educators, consistently showing kindness and respect to all.  

Family and Personal Life: Beyond the classroom, I am a mother of three. I love watching my kids play their favorite sports. I also love outdoor things [biking, hiking, camping, etc.], chai tea, and fitness. I am, too, fully dedicated to the pursuit of justice in all aspects of life and interpretation. I have an innate motivation to uphold principles of equity, and ethical values in all contexts and viewpoints. 

Teaching Mission: As an educator, my mission is to inspire a love for learning, promote critical thinking, and empower students to become lifelong learners who contribute positively to society. I am dedicated to the pursuit of excellence in education, and I believe every student possesses inherent potential and unique talents. I am deeply committed to and eagerly await transformative moments when students discover their true passions.
