Merrie King, Orchestra Director
An experienced music educator and orchestra director, Mrs. King has taught in school districts across Texas and has many years of First Division ratings at UIL competitions. Before moving to Frenship ISD, Mrs. King and her family lived in Japan, where she taught high school music classes to military-connected students and private violin lessons to members of the community. She is a recipient of the 2025 National High School Heart of Arts Award.
