Landon Camp is in his fourth year of teaching and in his third year as the Associate Director of Bands for Heritage Middle School. He is a graduate of Lubbock Christian University, where he received a Bachelor of Music Degree in Music Education. Additionally, Mr. Camp is currently working on his Master's degree in Music Education at Texas Tech University.
While studying at LCU, Mr. Camp was a trombonist in the Symphonic Band, the LCU jazz ensemble, the Big Blue Pep Band, and the Lubbock Civic Orchestra, in which he continues to play and perform. He also sang in many vocal ensembles including the Praise Choir, Chamber Singers, and Best Friends. In these groups, Mr. Camp toured across Texas and New Mexico as well as international tours in Austria, Romania, Croatia, Ireland, and Northern Ireland.
Mr. Camp met his lovely wife Sadie, who will be starting Vet School this fall at Texas Tech University, while in college and has been married for 3 years. In his free time, Mr. Camp enjoys playing games with his family and friends, reading Science Fiction and Fantasy novels, watching Star Trek, or shredding the slopes in New Mexico and Colorado. Mr. Camp is originally from Shallowater, Texas and is a graduate of Shallowater High School.
