Frenship ISD Names New Terra Vista Middle School Principal

Eugenis brings a wealth of knowledge to this new role with 26 years of experience in coaching, teaching, and educational leadership. He first joined the Frenship family back in 2010 as a teacher and coach at Frenship High School and then served as the Terra Vista Middle School Assistant Principal for four years. To continue his leadership journey, Eugenis most recently served as the Principal of Levelland Middle School.

“It is an honor to come back to Frenship ISD and to be named the principal at Terra Vista,” said Eugenis. “I feel like I am coming home!  The relationships that were built during my 12 years at Frenship are what I have missed the most. I am looking forward to reconnecting with the Terra Vista team, the families, and the students. I’m excited to plan with teachers for a year of learning and growth.”

Eugenis earned his bachelor's degree at Angelo State University and a master’s in educational administration from Lamar University. Over his educational career, Eugenis has earned many awards for his dedication to student growth including the Fellowship of Christian Athletes Huddle Coach of the Year award in 2009 when teaching in Rockport, and again in 2014 while at Frenship.

Coming in with a strong foundation of Frenship’s culture of excellence and established relationships with the Terra Vista staff, Eugenis is excited to kick off a new school year back at home.

“The high standard of excellence and the people are what make Frenship special. Terra Vista Middle School is no exception to that standard. The staff are some of the best Frenship has to offer.”

Eugenis and his wife Shelbi have three children Jacob, Caleb, and Emili, two who are Frenship graduates.
