All Frenship Middle School Excel at UIL Concert

Frenship ISD had six middle school band ensembles participate at the UIL Concert and Sight-reading Evaluation with wonderful results.  

Terra Vista Middle School: Varsity and Non-Varsity groups scored a perfect 111,111 obtaining a "Sweepstakes" and earning a Division 1 "Superior" rating on concert and sight-reading 

Heritage Middel School: Varsity made "Sweepstakes" earning a Division 1 "Superior" rating on stage and sight-reading. Non-Varsity earned an Division 2 "Excellent" on stage and a Division 1 "Superior" in the sight-reading. 

Frenship Middle School: Varsity and Non-Varsity groups scored a perfect 111,111 making "Sweepstakes" and earning a Division 1 "Superior" rating on concert and sight-reading. This is the 25th consecutive year for FMS Band to earn the coveted Sweepstakes Award. 

“It feels great to belong to such a dominant team,” said TVMS Band Director Roel Sanchez. “It's nice knowing that the kids that we are cultivating here at the middle school level are going into a strong program at the high school that will push them even further in their musical endeavors.”
