Middle Schools Join in Friendly Competition for a Greater Cause

HMS Admin Dresses Up
Frenship Middle School, Heritage Middle School and Terra Vista Middle School held a friendly competition to see which campus could raise the most money for the March of Dimes organization.

Principals organized a way for both students and staff to get involved and chose to challenge their students by giving them just one day to raise funds. Students could pay a single dollar to dress up in a school-appropriate costume for the day and staff could pay $10 to wear jeans for an entire week.

After all of the totals were calculated, a total amount of $1,679.98 was given to the March of Dimes organization to help provide the best care to mothers and their babies.

HMS Students Dress UpAlthough the grand total was a tremendous amount to be proud of, students were excited to hear each individual campus total as the winning school will be awarded a Fun Friday this spring.

Frenship Middle School raised a total of $335.28
Heritage Middle School raised a total of $513.40
Terra Vista Middle School raised a total of $831.30

Congratulations to the students and staff at TVMS for raising the most money between the middle schools! Each campus did a great job and contributed to something bigger this holiday season.

We are proud to see students, staff and administrators always practicing The Frenship Way.
