So Much to be Thankful for at Frenship ISD

Frenship ISD was overwhelmed with donations over the Thanksgiving holiday ranging in food, clothes, financial support and more. We'd like to take this time to recognize just a few of those in the community who made an impact on our teachers and students lives.

Westwind Elementary
Received donations from Gene Messer Volkswagen, Turpin and Associates and the District West Apartments

Upland Heights Elementary
Received food box donations containing complete Thanksgiving meals including turkey, sides, rolls and pie from Calvary Baptist Church for those students who receive weekend food bags

North Ridge Elementary
Firestone on 19th street donated $200 to help feed 10 North Ridge families for Thanksgiving

Bennett Elementary
Wolfforth United Methodist Church donated food boxes full of turkey, sides and desserts for 20 families in need at Bennett Elementary.

Willow Bend Elementary
Upland Mission donated 10 bags full of non-perishable sides for a Thanksgiving meal for students and families at Willow Bend. United Supermarkets on 4th and Slide also donated five turkeys and 10 pies with the other five turkeys being purchased with donated gift cards. In addition to Thanksgiving meals, Aldersgate Church donated to a Willow Bend family whose house was broken into before the holiday break. They gifted the family with all new bedding and each child received clothes including jackets and shoes.

Reese Education Center
The staff at Reese Education Center staff gathered together to provide sides for a Thanksgiving feast with their students and also had food provided for them from United Supermarkets, Walmart Supercenter, Sam's and the South Plains Food Bank.

We know there are others out there who have helped a teacher, student or entire campus in some way, and we want to say THANK YOU. Thank you, for choosing our Frenship Family to support. Thank you for your generous hearts. Thank you, for making a tremendous impact on the entire Frenship community. We are forever grateful and blessed by all of you.
