Heritage Middle School Turns Aluminum Cans Into Works of Art

Heritage Middle School art students turned a lesson of recycling into a wall of art. After a study on the French artist, Didier Triglia, who is known for his artwork created from "trash," students began to discuss recycling issues such as the amount of aluminum cans that are used every year and why it's important to recycle those items.

Students brought in empty cans to class and the creativity ensued. The classes turned what would normally be considered trash into works of art using different types of paint and recycled cardboard.
