About Me: My name is Maggie Edwards and for the past 7 years I have been committed to not only imparting knowledge to my students but also nurturing critical thinking, empathy and a lifelong love for education.
Teaching Philosophy: In my classroom, I emphasize the importance of critical thinking, problem solving, and collaboration. I encourage students to think independently, ask questions, and express their ideas with confidence. I believe in fostering creativity and curiosity, as it is through explorations and experimentation that deep learning occurs.
Family and Personal Life: When I am not busy at school, I have my hands full with my 3-year-old son, Parker. My husband, Colby, is a football coach so we spend a lot of time in the fall working with crazy schedules and cherishing out family time. We also have one fur baby, a Mini Aussie named Jace.
