I graduated from Texas Tech University in 1996 with a degree in English. I taught at Irons Middle School for 24 years, and I absolutely love teaching 7th and 8th grade reading and writing. I happily joined the Heritage family in 2023. I am a Texas girl, born and bred, growing up in Odessa; my mother still lives there, and I try to go home often. My two children are grown and in college. Just like an English teacher, I enjoy reading and writing in my spare time. I love being outdoors. We recently bought a house at Buffalo Springs Lake, and I enjoy the view, walking, and reading out on the porch.
