I am so excited to be your child’s 6th grade math teacher this year! We have an amazing year of learning, growth, and problem-solving ahead of us, and I can’t wait to get started. I graduated from Lubbock Christian University with a BSIS in Middle School Education. This will be my sixth year teaching 6th grade math, and every new school year brings me so much joy and inspiration!

When I am outside the classroom, I am usually spending time with my family, which includes my husband and one year old daughter, Ivy, as well as our dog, Duke. I also love to paint, explore new ways to be creative, and relax with my loved ones.

I believe that every child can succeed in a supportive, engaging, and inclusive environment. My goal is to foster a classroom community where students feel safe to ask questions, make mistakes, take creative risks in their learning, and celebrate each other's "aha!" moments in math. I believe strongly in open, positive communication, so please don't hesitate to reach out with any questions or concerns. I am looking forward to a great year together!
