Intro
Welcome to the library! My name is Christina Miller, and I am so excited to serve your student as the library clerk at Heritage Middle School. I have been with the district since 2020.
Working with middle school students to find books they enjoy is something I am really passionate about. I love having a student come in who has no idea what they want to read. We spend some time together to talk about their likes, interests, favorite movies, etc. From there I can help them select anything from true crime in non-fiction to a fun, adventure series in our fiction section. My favorite part of my job is having a student return for more book recommendations after I have helped them select a book in the past.
I believe there is no such thing as a child who doesn't like to read... they simply haven't found the right book yet!
I was born and raised in Southern California, but have called Lubbock home for most of my adult life. My husband, Brady, is Director of Design at a local marketing company and we have two children who are Frenship Panthers.
I currently split my week between Heritage Middle School and Alcove Trails Middle School.
I am in the library at Heritage on Mondays, Wednesdays, and every other Friday.
