The Girl Scouts of Texas Oklahoma Plains honored FISD Superintendent Dr. Michelle McCord as one of four Lubbock area Women of Distinction honorees during the organization’s annual banquet.

The Frenship High School Choir program invites the community to see their musical production of Pirates of Penzance scheduled for this Friday and Saturday, May 11-12 at the FHS Performing Arts Center. Both shows begin at 7:00 p.m.

On April 26, Frenship Middle School and Terra Vista Middle School participated in the district Battle of the Books in Amarillo.

Sixth grade ELAR students at Heritage Middle School had fun with poetry last week when their teachers created an “escape room” for them. Students had to use their knowledge of poetry to answer clues, open boxes with locks, put puzzles together and ultimately escape.

Thanks to the incredible FHS students in the Chick-fil-A Leadership Academy, faculty and staff at Frenship ISD had a fantastic time Saturday night at the 80s Throwback Prom.

More than 1,000 elementary and middle school students competed in the Get Excited About Robotics (GEAR) competition Saturday, April 14 which is an eight-week LEGO robotics challenge for students in grades kindergarten through eighth grade.

The Frenship ISD Board of Trustees unanimously approved the 2018-19 school calendar Monday night during their monthly meeting at the Casey Administration Building.

The FISD Fine Arts Department invites the community to the eleventh annual Showcase of the Visual and Performing Arts scheduled for April 17-27 at the FHS Performing Arts Center.
