Each year the Texas Association of Secondary School Principals selects outstanding principals and assistant principals from each of the twenty TASSP regions. Selections are based upon exemplary performance and outstanding leadership in secondary education. The TASSP Principal Image Committee reviews the applications and selects the finalists. Finalists are interviewed by members of the Principal Image Committee and following the interview process, the Texas winners are announced. (source: tassp.org)
“To be honest I was completely shocked,” said Campbell. “There are so many incredible administrators that I am lucky to work with in this region. I am humbled by the recognition and know that credit goes to my incredible staff, students, and the leaders I have had the opportunity to learn from.”
Campbell is starting her third year with FISD and has been in education for 15 years. She said HMS is a blessing to her in many ways, and that she is humbled to serve alongside the rest of her staff.
“Every day I am provided the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of the students I serve,” Campbell said. “Each of the students who walks through our doors can achieve amazing things. I work to provide the environment to make that possible by focusing on student growth, teacher growth and high-quality instruction.”
