Gage McNeely, a 2023 Frenship High School alum, is making waves in the Texas country music scene. From early beginnings at School of Rock to playing over 230 shows with the band Hudson Westbrook to recently being named a finalist for Guitar Player of the Year at the Texas Country Music Awards, McNeely continues to inspire aspiring musicians.
This past weekend, Frenship Memorial High School debuted its first school production with the inspiring musical Godspell. Theatre Director Lindsey Pierson hopes this story of community, kindness, and forgiveness defines the values they want to establish in the Memorial Fine Arts program.
Frenship High School has been named to the 2025 ESPN Honor Roll and awarded the National Unified Champion School Banner, recognizing the campus’ outstanding commitment to inclusion and leadership. Unified athletes, partners, and alumni are also earning national opportunities, including representing Texas at the 2026 Special Olympics USA Games in Minnesota this summer.
