Dear parents, greetings and welcome!
Greetings and welcome to the beginning of the new school year! My name is Dianne Ayala, and I am from the beautiful island of Puerto Rico, a USA territory! I am 34 years old, and I have four beautiful boys and an amazing husband! My two oldest sons are already in high school while my two youngest are in elementary school. All four are bilinguals in Spanish and English. As students, they have been serviced through the Dual Language & ESL program. Our decision to come to Texas was after Hurricane Maria in September of 2017. Lubbock has been our home for 4 ½ years now, and my family and I are very much grateful for this opportunity and for the extraordinary warmth this town has treated us with. In August 2018, I was blessed with the opportunity to teach Spanish in Terra Vista and ESL in Frenship Middle School. In August 2019, I served the ESL community at the Cooper High School as assistant teacher. In August 2020, I came back to Frenship to Heritage Middle School and this 2022-2023 school year will be my is my 3rd year here! From day one, I have been teaching ESL and Spanish and I have to say that the experience has been fascinating! Each year, my goal is to keep learning along with my students, develop more as an educator, and impact them in the best possible way for their growth and academic success.
I am looking forward to getting to know you and collaborate as a team!
